Kyhber Mount Guest House

9 East Cresent, Whitby

Proximity to amenities: 4/5 Perfectly positioned for the spa paviliion, the leisure centre and the main town, but was quite a walk to the Met

Value For Money: 4/5 Couldn't find anywhere cheaper in the vacinity

Breakfast Quality: 3/5 Not the best full english i've ever had, underdone egg and veggie sausages (Yuk!)

Cleanliness/Rooms: 3/5 Stayed 3 days and was disappointed to find room was not serviced once. However rooms were bright, airey and well laid out

Staff Attitude: 5/5  Couldn't fault the staff who were on duty, couldn't do enough for their guests and nothing was ever a bother

Overall 3/5 Staff are wondefully pleasant but the guesthouse is in need of updating and modernisation. Also room wasn't serviced in 3 whole days, quite a disappointment

The Rosslyn Guesthouse

2 Normanby Terrace Whitby

Proximity to amenities: 3/5 The Met was closer as was the Leisure centre but longer for the town and any eateries

Value For Money: 5/5 Wonderful upmarket rooms very big and airey, lots of cupboard space

Breakfast quality: 5/5 A wonderful large array of breakfasts on offer including variations on the full english, cereals and Whitby Kippers

Cleanliness/Rooms: 5/5 Very clean, serviced daily, wonderful rooms

Staff Attitude: 5/5 Lovely friendly people who were always happy to see their guests enjoying themselves

Overall 4/5 Would happily stay their again (but not on the 5th floor this time)
